GOOD CHEMISTRY BREWING TAPROOM

GOOD CHEMISTRY BREWING TAPROOM

Hello,

We wanted to let you know that the Good Chemistry Brewing Taproom in St Philips will not be re-opening this summer. We will be part of East Bristol Brewery Trail as normal (Sat 29th & Sun 30th April, and Sat 26th & Sun 27th August), so come and get your William Street fix then!

Increases in our production over the last several months have meant we’re really strapped for space at GCHQ, and we no longer have room to clear out the warehouse area that doubles as our Brewery Tap.

We’re incredibly disappointed – we love seeing you over the summer, sharing our newest and freshest beers, getting the decks set up for our amazing record-spinners, welcoming the wonderful food traders we work with. But it isn’t physically possible for us to regularly create the space you know and love.

We’ll be working hard to get something sorted for next year, so watch this space.

Join us at the Brewery Trails for all of the above – as usual we’ll be pulling out all the stops to provide you with the best possible experience over what we hope will be a sunny, fun and busy weekend! We have the incredible The Cheese Guys (those fromage wizards from Two Belly) slingin’ toasties, and yes, Private Britton and Lonely Tourist will be spinning all your favourite tunes. And of course our pubs, The Good Measure up on Chandos Road and the Kings Head in BS1, are open all summer-long with our latest brews before anyone else.

Your support of our little business continues to mean the world to Bob and me, and to the rest of our team here at GCHQ. We work really hard to create good chemistry in its broadest sense – not just through the quality of the beer we produce but using that to allow us to celebrate community and relationships across other things like science, the arts, music, food and social experiences, as well as beer and brewing.

In 2023, apart from the Brewery Trail, that won’t be at our Taproom, but we hope you’ll stay with us and we’ll see you out and about soon.

Cheers,

Kelly & Bob

And Dan1, Dan the Brew, Liam, Lorin, Martyn and Ruth
